How To Get a Security Guard License

  • Step 4: BSIS usually processes new applications within 60 days

  • All security guards issued a California Guard Card need to completed 8 hours of annual training every year after the initial date of hire.

  • By completing two 4 hour course, you can fulfill the annual requirement.

  • Our courses meet the Bureau of Secuirty and Investigative Services training requirements for Continued Education. Business and Professional Code Section 7583.6 and 7583.7, and Title 16 of the California Code of Regulations.
